Whitiwhitia e te ra has neighbours who change according to the seasons. It is worth taking a few minutes to watch and observe.

Next door

You will notice we have human neighbours on one side, and across the road. These people live here, so please respect their wish for privacy, and peace and quiet.

But on the other side, and behind the property, are small holdings owned by other locals. While you may not be able to see their houses, they live on site.

What you may see are their horses. They are friendly, but belong to other people, so please keep your distance when you talk to them.

And then there is the wildlife.

It is worth your while to take some time at the back fence to observe the birdlife. You may be surprised at what you see!
